Nathanial Bork, Ph.D. is a Distinguished Doctoral Fellow working on his second Ph.D. examining the intersection between Critical Theory and free speech, open inquiry, and academic freedom at a policy level. Following 7 years of teaching Philosophy as an adjunct instructor, his first Ph.D. was in Political Science at Colorado State University and focused on Political Theory, Environmental Politics, and Public Policy and Public Administration. He is also a Visiting Scholar at Rutgers University and produces a series of Substacks aimed at steelmanning various arguments on controversial subjects to improve public discourse. Originally from Colorado, he now spends his non-study time either training for the Tough Mudder or exploring the amazing motorcycle trails throughout the Ozarks. He has a teenage daughter with special needs who spends her summers with him, basking in the Southern Summer sun.
